About Hypnotherapy
There are two parts to your mind – the part that thinks (your conscious mind) and the part that listens (your subconscious mind). Most people try to solve their issues on the conscious level. Since all habits and behaviors are stored in the subconscious mind, if you decide you want to change the habit – stop smoking, etc. – your subconscious mind will resist the change because it does not recognize and accept the new behavior.

Your subconscious mind has to recognize the new habitual behavior for the change to be effective. Hypnotherapy is effective because it works with the 90% of the mind, the subconscious mind, reaching the source of the habit to help change the behavior. Changing the habit becomes easy when the subconscious and the conscious mind are aligned.
IN FACT...
New findings from neuroscience are reporting up to 95% of brain activity (or as much as 99%) of your life comes from the programming in your subconscious mind, beyond conscious awareness.

Hypnosis is a focused, deep state of relaxation
The experience is much like taking a light nap or like a guided meditation except you hear everything that is being said. It quiets your conscious mind while connecting to and redirecting the subconscious mind. All of your senses are actually heightened as your body becomes more and more relaxed. When finished, you will open your eyes refreshed and on your way to positive change. Most see results after the first session. You will definitely feel love for yourself during your first session!

No one can make you do anything that you don’t want to do under hypnosis. While “in hypnosis” you simply find that suggestions and directions given to you by “my coaching” makes it easier for you to accomplish the results you want. You are awake during the process.
Frequently asked questions
-
Will I quack like a duck?No one will do anything in hypnosis that they would not do when hypnotized. The truth about stage hypnotism is that these people volunteer to act on stage and they allow themselves to participate in silly suggestions. Hypnotherapy is a serious process of self-improvement, not entertainment.
-
Can I get stuck in a hypnotic trance? This is as likely as being stuck in a daydream, it simply never happens. Hypnosis is very safe and is in fact a state of hyperawareness. Anytime someone wanted to end the session, a person would naturally be able to come out of the hypnotic state by opening their eyes.
-
Will I be able to be hypnotized?Every person naturally enters a state of hypnosis at least twice every day, just before falling asleep and upon awaking every morning. You are in a state of hypnosis when you daydream, or when you are in the zone of total absorption of a good book or movie. So yes, everyone can be hypnotized.
-
How many sessions will I need to see results?Change through hypnosis is a process usually requiring several sessions and not a one-time event. However, many people experience dramatic results after the first session. Every individual makes progress at their own rate. The number of sessions needed to resolve an issue varies according to individuals. One may require four to six sessions for an issue to shift, whereas another may require two or three sessions. Hypnosis is not a panacea; Hypnotherapy is a process – a systematic approach to changing old thought patterns, belief systems in the subconscious mind.
“Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.”
- CARL JUNG -
Hypnotherapy is a powerful clinical tool that trains and communicates directly with our unconscious mind, which is the source or root of many of our behaviors, emotions, attitudes and motivations. Hypnotherapy is also an exceptionally gentle and effective way of attaining personal goals and making lasting changes with ease. It can also facilitate healing in the body and help to dissolve illness and dis-ease. Hypnotherapy accesses memories, changes perception and creates improvements in our lives. These amazing transformations are achieved through the use of hypnosis, or direct communication with the unconscious mind.

The subconscious mind controls our emotions, beliefs, self-esteem, immune systems, and bodies. It influences what we think, how we feel, the choices we make, and the actions we take. Out of our normal awareness, the part of our mind is filled with the riches of who we truly are. Our personality, perceptions, intuition, inner wisdom and creativity all reside within it. Hypnosis creates the bridge to attain access to all of these inner riches so that you may shape and form your life as you’d like to experience it.
Although we normally regard hypnosis as a trance-like state, it is actually a normal and natural altered state of consciousness.
In fact, after experiencing hypnosis sessions, many people question whether they really have been hypnotized. This is because, although people expect it to be quite strange, hypnosis is quite a normal state.

Hypnosis is safe, non-invasive, and enjoyable. As compared with traditional counseling or psychotherapy, clients can expect rapid improvement. Hypnosis can help put YOU in control of your thoughts, feelings and choices to create the life you want to live.
